For high sensitivity measurements (B), when a large sample volume has to be processed a second pump has to be used as a sample injector. Preferably this has to be either a peristaltic pump or Milligat . More complex flow scheme may be have to be designed if a sample has to be conditioned (e.g. neutralized) prior to passing through the sorbent column.
